Pulling Out White Hair

There it was! To my surprise, I saw a strand of white hair on my husband’s head!

I pulled it out and I showed it to Andi. Andi kept on saying, “Look Daddy! White hair! Wow, nice!” I guess she found it so amusing to see such a strange, uncommon color of hair.

I kept on teasing JA that he’s getting older, and more mature. Or then again, could I be the one causing his aging? :-) I hope not.

Anyway, as I was holding and looking at this strand of white hair, this is the one thought came to mind…

I wanna grow old & excited to grow old with him! (I know, I know… it sounds like the song. And it may be too cheesy for some. But it is the truth :-) ) I cannot think of anyone else that I wanna live with, dream with and build with.

He is the love of my life, and my best friend. And I want all of who he is, white hairs and all.

Wedding day

Side Note:

Keeping my commitment and honoring my vows gets more real everyday, after  3 1/2 years of being married.

JA is not perfect and will never be perfect. That realization gets more real everyday too!…And marriage I have learned does not necessarily get easier through time. And yes, it is HARD work. But it gets sweeter. Yes, it can get sweeter.

We have a long way to go! But imagine just how sweet 50 years down the road can be! :-)
