One of our first family pictures

My Andi is going to turn 2 soon. I can still remember the first time I saw her. I remember the sleepless nights and when I struggled to breastfeed. I was a thrilled, overwhelmed and unprepared new mom. But every single moment I had with Andi still remains in mint condition in my mind. I cherished every moment of it.

Now she is turning two. She talks endlessly and her energy seems to be boundless too! Before I will just watch her sleep most of the day. Today, we paint, we sing, we dance, we read, we pray, we play together. Just recently, she watched her first movie (Shrek 4!) and she is looking forward to her next one (Toy Story 3). I am enjoying her now as much as I have enjoyed her before.

I treasure every memory I have made with her and I am looking forward to the future ones I am going to make with my beautiful baby.
I do not want to miss out. I do not want to be consumed with what is not important. I want the best of my time, my energy, simply put my best to be given to her (and our family). I want to be there to witness all her milestones. Before I know it, she will be in school and she will someday have a family of her own. I wanna maximize the window of time we have with her.

Every moment I have is a blessing that I am grateful for. And every season is meant to be enjoyed and cherished.
