I teach Andi through the words that I say. I encourage, I affirm, I instruct, I teach.
I teach Andi more importantly with how I live: how I speak, how I conduct myself, how I treat others, how I love and respect my husband, how I pray…. I live, I teach.
As much as I loved school when I was growing up and as much as I appreciate teachers and yayas too… I firmly, firmly believe that no one can replace the role of a mother in a child’s life. And moms are given the privilege and the great opportunity to mold and shepherd a child’s heart and to direct his/her life. I do hope that I get to maximize the time I have with Andi and my future kids to teach them not just how to read or write or to be good in school but to be excellent in character and to have utmost devotion and love for God. This is my hope. This is what I aim for. And it is worth the hard work. After all, they are and will be my greatest legacy! :-)
