Andi sings Kids’ Praise song ”Into My Heart”

One of the best things that my mom gave me when I was a little girl were the collection of casette tapes of Psalty’s Kids’ Praise Music. Up to this day I remember these songs by heart, and I was recounting to JA how some of these songs have kept me through some of the tough times in my life.

Anyway, JA got to download some of these Kids Praise songs and have put them in my iPod. I made Andi hear them and she grew to love them and now sings along with them. I love it when I hear her sing these songs of praise and worship to God. She has learned a few bible verses from them too.

I Dream to See the World

The other day I arranged my magnet collection. I have been collecting magnets from different places around the world. Some were from our own travels and most were gifts from friends and their travels. I started out collecting these for Andi. I wanted her room (when the time comes that she has her own) to be “around the world” inspired. Now I am thinking as our collection is getting bigger, maybe it can be a collection for our family. Andi gladly shares them with us anyway. Just this morning she said, “These are mine, Mommy’s and Daddy’s”.

Seeing the world is probably one of my greatest dreams and desires. I have always wanted my family to be “global” (for whatever that means). I want JA and I, and our children to see the world, be able to live, explore, build relationships, and work (and study) in different parts of the world. How that will unfold, I don’t know, but these thoughts always excites JA and me.
