Last May 14, 2011, Andi and I shot the Tiki-Tiki Commercial. It was not a huge project but it was our first thus making it very memorable and special. It was a blessing from God too.
Andi had so much fun during the shoot! That was my prayer, that she would enjoy and learn from the experience. And in so many ways, she showed how performing comes natural to her :) As always I am proud of my precious one. I am proud of her anyway, even without her doing anything.
I am sure my Andi will do bigger and greater things in the future. I will always look back at this with much fondness :)
During our trip to Delmonte, Bukidnon last summer, we went to a park in Cagayan de Oro and tried the longest (not sure if highest) zipline in the country. Andi was with JA’s dad while we went to go ziplining one by one. To my surprise, Andi told me she wants to try it. I did not want to take her and JA, though he wanted to, was too tired. Besides, I think Andi would get scared if she sensed how scared I was, and what more if I was holding her! So JA’s brother Martin was brave (or crazy) enough to accept the challenge and he gladly took Andi with him. I asked him to take the video while they do it, so we can document Andi’s zipline adventure.
Andi (2years old at the time she did this, she is now 3) has always been bold and adventurous. She likes climbing, jumping, tumbling, running, and trying out things. I think she got that from her dad (well, not all of it, but the adventurous part). I like comfortable adventures (if there is such a thing). Andi is true to the meaning of her name: strong and courageous!
When I think about it, I would rather that she does not do it again while she is young. I definitely won’t. As fun and thrilling as it was, once was enough for me.
I am proud of you Andi girl! You are one brave girl! And I know that you will have more exciting adventures in your life.
